JP’s Golf Day in support of the Brain Tumour Charity & the East Cheshire Hospice
As everyone is aware, the Coronavirus is having a profound effect on all of our lives. As it is so unpredictable, no one knows how long we will be “confined to Barracks” or indeed when all the current restrictions will be lifted. It is with that in mind that we have taken the decision to postpone JP’s Golf Day this year and reschedule for next year.
We will be holding next year’s golf day at Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club again, and the proposed date will be Friday 9th July 2021. We do hope that you will continue to support our golf day in memory of Jonny.”
Jonny Pearce affectionately known as JP to most people, passed away on the 25th November 2018, after a 4 year battle with Brain cancer.
Jonny always said, that if any money was raised by anyone in his name, he wanted it to go to the Brain Tumour Charity, so that they could use it to go towards research into finding a cure for such a horrible disease, and hopefully help others who might be unfortunate to suffer the same illness as Jonny.
